Working and Baking

Hi friends!
Nasty looking  Day!
Made a few more yesterday of these.
Then i got out that red flowered fabric and made another block.
This is a envelope block!  you make this to make the other blocks that i have been working on.
Then you cut it up and rearrange the pieces. It makes this beautiful block!  Then you sew the pieces together to make this!
I love making these blocks, it's magical!
Yesterday for supper i made some home made bread to go with the soup.
You can see the metal mixer still in the top or bottom however you look at it.
Supper!
It must have been good we ate half of it!

I am thinking about toasting some and eating it with butter in a little while, a late lunch!
I used my bread machine that i hadn't used for years and really didn't know if it would work
Tommy bought me this years ago.
He likes to by me cooking stuff since i told him i don't really wear jewelry.
Have a great one friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

I made turkey soup and added a little rice. By the 2nd day DH called it turkey stew it was so thick but it was very good. I love that red fabric and that block pattern is gorgeous.

That does make a great looking block.

I'll bet that bread smelled as good as it tasted too.
