My new toy

Hi friends!
Another rainy day!
I have looked at sewing machines for months now, ever since i found out that my Janome was 100% plastic.
It hasn't sewed right since i got it worked on, it's not that he didn't fix it because he did but now my bobbin jumps all the time i am sewing.
And i am drawed up in a hard knot excepting it to tear up again.
This is a brother quilting and sewing machine and all but the cover is metal.
I have been sewing on it for a week and i love it but the best thing is it can be fixed when it messes up.
Plastic is a sorry way for sewing machines company's to go.
Cheap dollar store toys are plastic not 300.00 dollar machines!!!
I haven't tried free motion quilting on it yet but it's made for that.
It makes a great 1/4 inch seam!!!! Sews really fast if you want it to.
Going now to play with it!!!
Quilt happy

Enjoy your new machine. I know you will. And congratulations on getting it...It looks like it will be a work horse. Which is a great thing for quilting. Love all that room it has.

Congratulations on your new sewing machine. What model Brother is it? How big is the throat, is it (the throat) bigger than the standard home machine?
