Yesterday

Hi Friends!
I did these Wednesday!
Yesterday I had a app. with my retina Dr., hoping he would say see you in a year.
Wasn't expecting what he said at all!
When he finished pushing the skin around my eye all the way to the back of my skull he said " You will have to have surgery if you don't want to go blind"!
He said that I could have lazor surgery and it might do what was needed.
I asked if he did it in the office he said yes but was booked up until later yesterday afternoon.
So we went and eat and came back. Went to Long Horn for my Birthday lunch.
He did it in ten minutes!
Now since they are closing that office until the second week of Jan. I will have to go to their offices in Chattanooga in a couple of weeks.
For post op visit!
And all I wanted was to quit going to Dr's!!!!!
Seems like that's all I have done since the first of the year.
Oh well it could be much worse.
Mine is just a small problem compared to others.
My blessing's are many.
Have a good weekend
Hugs
Babs

I totally know how you feel. I have been in and out of the hospital and drs since mid July 2016 and I am tired of being ill. I hope the procedure you had done works.

Oh hoping the procedure worked for you--Both hubster and I had cataracts done over last and this year--long process, but our vision is SO much better...

I missed this post. What did he say was wrong with your eye to do surgery - and that you would go blind - I do not understand.

Hope you have a quick recovery! That is rather scary news to get after thinking you were just going for a checkup. Our eyes are so precious, it's good he was able to take care of the issue for you so quickly.

Thank goodness it was caught so quickly and taken care of the same day.

Eye surgery is really scary for me. I have a cataract developing and just put off getting new glasses to find out more. Guess I'll do that after the first of the year. I'm wondering how far Chattanooga is from you. Bet there are some great quilt shops there, lol. Love the colors you are using on the log cabin blocks.
xx, Carol

Now I understand. Somehow I didn't see this post. How is your eye feeling?
