Beautiful day 68 degrees!
My free motion quilting is suppose to be hearts and leaves.
I though about doing my Christmas quilt but it would take so long!!!!
Got to think up some thing else to quilt like that. I will need to do two baby quilts next year and that maybe as soon as i can do it. I will have to make me a practice piece. Or a bunch of them to practice with!

FMQ is not easy (in my opinion ) ,I keep practicing.I started last year and I have improved a little.Usually just do squiggles ,every time I try a pattern it all goes horribly wrong.but I will keep at it just like you Babs. Xx
I am glad you are making some things for yourself.
potholders and mug rugs are good starts to practice quilting. some have also suggested to quilt different patterns on squares and then join all the prequilted squares. then you can see your progress from the first one to the last one e specially if you do like 12 inch squares.
