Q-bees and cleaning

Hi friends!
We had q-bees last night.
Our teacher showing her quilting frame.
Just 6 showed up for the meeting but some had to be some where else.
Our assignment for next month is to bring a 12 inch scrap fabric with musluim for backing.

Our teacher is going to get the batting so every one will have the same.
We will hopefully learn how to quilt by hand then.
Tommy used his pressure washer on one side of the house yesterday while i ran errands for him and cleaned carpets.
Just hope my shampooer is not broke, i bought this 24 years ago but when i finished the living room and started on the dining room it wouldn't work.
It was empty so i will refill and see if that makes a difference.
Have a great weekend
Hugs
Quilt Happy

hand quilting I really enjoy and feel my stitches are getting smaller! I have invested in an aunt Backys finger protector which I have only recntly got and am sure it will make the process easier, enjoy your lesson.
Trust your faithful carpet cleaner is working again now, I am sure things were made to last in those days but not so mow.

if you like to do handsewing, handquilting is fun. I love it. my first project when I learned I took a 12 inch muslin square and marked it with a feathered circle. then after I quilted it, I added two sides of small log cabin blocks and made some placemats that I still have today. that was over 20 years ago. my nieces were not even born yet and the oldest is 24! the hardest part I think is popping the knot.
