Center Of Hagen's quilt

Hi friends!
It sure was hard cutting up that brand new t-shirt!
I used fusible interfacing to back it with.
It didn't seem to add that much body but if I don't like it next time I will order a little heavier interfacing.
Fusible is convenient .
Tommy came in yesterday and said "We have storm damage" so I had to go look!
The top of a dead tree broke with all that wind and speared another young tree bending it down.
It looks weird standing up like that.
I have lily's blooming down the side of the house.
Spring can't be far away but we are going to have a hard freeze tonight as least that's what they are saying.
Have a great weekend
Hugs
Babs

Oh cutting a new one--you are brave. But it will be a lovely center to the quilt for sure. Have a great weekend. No blooms here yet but bitterly cold as of last night...hugs, Julierose

Good for you. Maybe if I ever get something done I will start on Jeff's t shirt quilt.

I love that football quilt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I hate you had storm damage. More might be coming.
Spring is here where we are - except it is going to frost tonight.
Love,

Cutting a new t-shirt sounds as hard as cutting your new favourite fabric. This quilt is going to be stunning. It's 8 above c today but going down to minus 10 c tomorrow. That's a big swing. Enjoy your weekend.

working with t shirt can be tricky I suspect, a good idea to strengthen it.

I picked up a Pit Bull dog T-shirt to make a tote bag for my daughter so I appreciate your tip on possibly using a heavier interface. Your T-shirt is a perfect focal for this quilt!

It makes a wonderful block for the quilt so it was worth cutting it up.
