Two Quilts

Hi friends!
I sewed one strip of the blocks together, just to see how "clover" looked with them.
Then added a 2 inch strip to the top and the bottom.
I like this look and I think with a small border five blocks across will be plenty wide enough.
I am still hand stitching this. Going around each of the star points. We have to have them done by the  9 th when we have Q-Bees again.
This is a Falcons star  block, I told you before the fabric is not my style! I love color.
But he loves them so they go into his quilt.
This fabric is ok with other fabric's but just doesn't show up when you just use this. This is the only quilters cotton they make for their team,  They have a blue but it's flannel.
I ordered some black, I am going to use it for sashing. That should make my blocks really pop and I plan to put red around the t-shirts.
Hugs
Babs

Well, looks like you are doing post eye surgery! I think your Falcons quilt will look great with the colors you chose to enhance the Falcons fabric. We are Chicago fans in all sports. We have always been lucky to have a pretty good selection of fabrics for all sports.

Have a great weekend.
