What not to do!

Hi friends!
No sewing for me for a while! Was trimming a small star for Anna's quilt and took off some finger.
Took six stitch's! I think maybe it needed more.
My finger was swollen because they put a tourniquet on it to stop the bleeding.
See! Kind of Gorey!
Told you  it needs more stitch's!
If this doesn't "take" I will need a skin graft.
So prayers please, Don't like going to Dr's.
Sewing will resume as soon as I get a "glove" and the bandage is smaller.
Hugs
Babs

I will pray for you - it looks like it is so painful!!! I am so sorry - do you think it has enough stitches? Will be months before you can quilt again? Ouch!

Sorry to hear this. It's tough when you want to sew and can't. Maybe you are pushing yourself too hard to get all the quilts made. Hope it heals soon.

OMGOSH, I know how much that hurts!! Also, the pain that goes with the healing. I recently took a tine slice off my thumb while grating a potato. I'll be going shopping for something safer soon, lol.

Praying for your painless recovery.
xx, Carol
