Strip blocks, Clair and Lola and Bentley

Hi friends!
My five more blocks!
At least i am getting there !
Before i can sandwich these i will have to sandwich another quilt so i will have some left over battening.
So i guess the next step is to sandwich my daughter's quilt.
Last Friday we got to see our girls!
Clair , sitting in Grand paw's lap.
Lola
We sure have missed them, Clair is playing t-ball so they have been busy. Then Sunday we got to see Bentley again after Gracie's Birthday party. Kim always come to see me on Mother's day. She is like my own daughter!
Such a sweet little energizer bunny! With all those curls!
We did have a great weekend.
Spent all day Sat. cleaning house and sewing while Tommy worked on the garden.
He was ready to plow up the orka and plant it again and I said wait so now it's come up since it's got warm again.
We have blooms on the tomato's!
Can't wait for a fresh picked one out of our garden!
Have a good one
Hugs

You have a lovely garden all that hard work will be a blessing. My hubby planted okra and didn't think it was going to come up either. It just hasn't been warm enough for it. I hope it will come on up I would hate for him to have to replant. Your quilt is coming along nicely.

What a lovely and large garden--hope the rains stay away so you won't have to re-plant again--absolutely adorable grand children..hugs, Julierose

It is cool and so it is no wonder that nothing is coming up very fast. Your quilt blocks are humming right along.

It won't be long before the garden is in full production.

Your quilts are moving right along..and you have tomato blooms! My husband and his father always argued about who had the first bloom and who's tomato was bigger. They were like fish stories because somehow that biggest tomato always was eaten before it could be shown, lol.

Great pics of the kids. Hard to keep up with them at that age!
