Nearly Done

Hi friends!
Nasty day!
Don't for get my giveaway , i will draw Monday the 17th.
Finished my quilting and now i am  hand sewing the binding

I will do it by hand because i like it better that way and this quilt is for adults.
I always double sew the hem for little children.
Hopefully the sun will shine tomorrow and i can get some pictures before i wash it.
This pictures was made 2 days ago because the sun was shining then.
I planted 3 Bradford pears coming up the drive way and 2 behind the house. These have really changed.
The ones behind the house not so much.
Well friends it's cold here , don't know whether it will get into the 40ths and 20ths tonight.
It's usually Jan. before we get weather this cold.
Have a great sewing day .

Good for you to get that tree quilt done! We had a cold gray day as well Winds NE making for a cold dreary day!
Western part of state has snow in places! Too soon for sure!

It sounds like a good day to stay in and quilt. said...

Your bradford pears are lovely The ancient ones have one on their side of the lot. Dh and I have problems with it because we get those really fierce straight line winds and that tree does not like any type of wild weather.

I always hand sew my bindings too - it's my favourite part!

Another beautiful quilt - I love the flowers on it. And I love pear trees - so pretty when they bloom in the summer. I think that will be beautiful.
