Hi friends!
I am going to be working on two quilts for a while.
That rag quilt and this 'x and o's or hugs and kiss's quilt.
I made one before and loved it but gave it to some one that i felt needed it more than i did.
I have ordered some fabric to go with it because i didn't have anything but a fat quarter, should be here by the weekend.
I also ordered some for a baby quilt that i am going to make for a g-g that is due late this year but we are having her shower in Oct. before the Holiday rush.
So i must get busy, at least i am sewing some. .
Told Hubby that he couldn't drive for two weeks after his surgery but may not be able to keep him off his lawn mower after that.
That's what they told me years ago when i had surgery.
He stays up so much that his back is giving him fits, but we will talk to the nurse when she takes the staples out and changes his bandage to see if that's normal.
He has a rather large band-aid on his stomach .
At least that what it looks like, i am sure it's not a band-aid.
Got to get something done,
Have a great one
Hugs

If anyone can push out 3 quilts by October its you! I'm pretty sure you can do more. Go BABS!
Oh he'll really feel so much better after those staples are removed!! i know i did after my surgery--not 100% but a lot better...
will your quilt be all turquoise and white? Or any other colors?? will be interested to see this one come together...hugs and hang in there....Julierose
Hope the staples being removed will help a bit. Are you working on a quilt in solids?
I hope he will be feeling better when the staples are out - and you are back to quilting!
