This and That

Hi friends!
My blocks!!!
This is just from the dining room!
I have totes full of fabric , scraps and may have some more blocks on the enclosed back porch.
This will make one strange quilt!
Tommy's Mother's machine.
It's froze!!
But one day it will go to my step daughter's , i just hope they don't take her to the dump.
None of them so far have time to learn to quilt.
To busy working and taking kids to games.
My quilt wall!
I need to clean the back porch and quilt my turkey runner today while Tommy is  outside knocking the tops off the weeds, that's all we have growing.
The only thing left in the garden, Peppers.
Not much fall color here yet, a lot just dried up and fell off.
We have lots of just dead leaves on the ground under the hickory nut trees.
This one is in the front yard , but no nuts!
Old folks would say we are going to have a mild winter!
Because their are no nuts on any of our hickory nut trees, we had lots of big one last year.
Tommy is tickled  , he hates having them on the ground when he cuts.
Hopefully this will be the last time this year.
Crazy weather!
Have a good one.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

Oooh lotsa nice colorful blocks there!! We had one of three cold fronts blow in this afternoon and the temps are dropping.
It's supposed to go below freexing Sunday night--I'd better bring my rosemary in tomorrow..and pot it up for the winter.....
Hugs, Julierose

That is a nice machine. I have heard if you can remove the motor and submerge the machine in Kerosene for a few days it will free it up. If you do not want to submerge the machine we use aerokroil and spray the machine down really well. One of the best penetrating oil you can buy. Usually what gummed the machines up were the fact that they used 3 in 1 oil instead of sewing machine oil. Lots of pretty blocks. Would make a fun quilt.
