This is the block that Dawn had on her blog yesterday, i ran out of the blue and pink so used another scrap to finish it ! Don't like that i will have to make another one today.
We worked in the yard yesterday so i didn't have a lot of time to sew but i did get this done.
I used the machine that son in law gave me to do a little straight line quilting on my bird small quilt.
Then i added a black binding. Just need to sew this down and i can hang it in my sewing room.
I had to trim it so i could sew it!!
Maybe today!

Happy bright blocks! The little bird quilt is coming along nicely. Do you have a walking foot? That can make things go fast and easy when quilting or sewing through a lot of layers. Love mine! Hope you both are doing well! Lola
so glad that you could make it from my blog. it is a neat block! I loved playing with them. I may have to make more blue and yellow if I find any in my stash so I can play with the settings. it is so fun. you are moving right along on that bird quilt.
Yay! We got some yard work done this week too! The week has had an appointment somewhere every single day. It really breaks up the day too much to accomplish much stitching...but I did bake so all was not lost time.
