Quilting and New G-G

Hi friends!
I though i would quilt my small quilt with my feather weight but that didn't work!

Even after i worked on the top it still looked like this.  Not good!   After i gave up i found that my thread had come out of my bobbin case. That was the problem all alone.  So i didn't get it quilted this weekend.
We found out that the next g-g is going to be a girl so now i can  buy some pink! Good excuse right!
Demi wants to get some pictures on fabric for the front so i am leaving that up too her. Some one said you could get that at the t-shirt place , All i know is my printer want do it i have tried before.  Daughter got me some of that fabric  but it wouldn't work on mine. Could have been a problem with the operator but i never figured it out.
Have a good one
Hugs
Quilt Happy

Oh congratulations on you your new GG to be!! Great excuse for pink for sure...I have some of that pink Fairy fabric left if you'd like some? Let me know...I will gladly share ;--)))

That stitching looks like what my old Pfaff does--gee, maybe it was a bobbin problem and not the timing after all...cause I LOVE that old machine--will check it out..when I stop coughing--if that EVER happens!!ugh!! Hugs Julierose

The thread not in the bobbin right will do that - that much I know about sewing - lol. And congrats on the girl!

oh how sweet a girl! Yep, sounds like a GREAT excuse to buy pink fabric LOL
Dont you hate when your machine doesnt cooperate? I did some of those pictures on fabric years ago for my nieces quilts. I didnt have any trouble. I had some pictures on my computer and the fabric sheets just fed into my printer and printed off. then you took off the paper backing and used like fabric. I guess it may depend on the printer too.

I breathed a sigh of relief...a girl. Perfect for the Dora quilt, lol. I have never printed on fabric. I know lots do it. I see aggravation there in the learning curve and I have plenty of that already. Sewing is a time to relax and enjoy the project. Printers and sewing don't mix in my book. My daughter does it great!!

Bet there is lots of pink fabric just waiting to be found!!

I have never tried to quilt on my featherweight. I always quilt on my newer machine with the walking foot. How cool to have another girl.
