I did a rough drawing of how i wanted Davids quilt to look at 5 in the morning yesterday after going to bed at 12.
Put this around the star, i wanted black but didn't have any good. Didn't want to buy if i could help it. so i got this.It's dark blue with white pin holes so it looks black.
I made this block , i am going to use sports in each block.
After all he is 13!

Are these going to be two quilts, the star and the sport block or a combination of both. I really like the star block. I may do this for my hubby's quilt can't decide on what to make him. Do you have many snakes around.

the dark blue works well and a sport quilt is ideal for a 13 year old
I like the sports fabric. I have collected Black Hawk fabric to make my grandson a quilt. Thankfully I am learning how!!
