Hi friends!
Don't forgot the giveaway HERE
My new quilt i started last week.
These are additive!
What's so bad is i have almost that much tumbles still stacked up on my cutting table!
But am just making a lap quilt for another Aunt so i did white around these.
I cut the edges so i had a straight line to add to.
It's hard to see in this but i added a strip of colored two by 6 inch strips along that side of the white.
I stopped there because i didn't know if that was the look i wanted. But i don't want to get real big and i was going to add another white strip after the colored ones.
You can see it a little better here.
It doesn't show up much on that quilt i have on my bed.
Another one almost ready for quilting.
Have a good one
Hugs

Simply lovely scrappy quilt you've made here! I love it! when I did my hexagon (unfinished still!!) piece the edges were uneven too--I am going to applique it to wide strips I think we'll see...am really taking a short sewing respite right now. Stay tuned...hugs, Julierose
That's a pretty tumbler quilt. Barbara, could you email me your address so I can get your book sent out to you that you won on my blog hop giveaway! Thanks.
You must sew from sunup to sundown, you sure do get a lot accomplished! Bravo!
Wow you have a nice tumbler quilt. Looks wonderful.
your tumbler looks very much at home on the bed lots of colour very nice indeed
arent they addictive? like the way you made "stripes" of the dark and lights
I am making mine with the 2 1/2 inch tumblers (yeah I cant throw anything away hee hee) and trying to just sew scraps in no particular order. I have seen some of just one color too that I love ahhhhh another day.....
Love this new quilt
well that went together quickly!! If I move my machine to the living room I might get more done! I hate leaving Terry alone out there. Your tumbler quilt top is pretty cool. I like the light and dark rows. I also like looking at the variety of fabrics you use in your scrappy quilts.
xx, Carol
I love this! The scrappiness looks great in the tumbler shape.
Another beauty. Love all the different colours.
Yes, piecing is addictive! I'd rather piece than quilt, lol. This quilt is beautiful!
