I played yesterday and it started with this drawing.
I was trying to see if there was a way to use up a lot of scraps and make it a 10 inch block but this one was 8 by 9 so i went back and tried again.
This one was still not the right size. so i just grabbed some 6 inch square and started sewing them together.
With 3 by 6 inches scraps and just keep sewing until it was long enough to hang over the side's of the bed.
We had a lot of company Sat so i didn't get any sewing that day. Just enjoyed my company.
Look what came today! I won the fat eight bundle and charm pack from fabric editions . Isn't it adorable with the silver spots?
And the book i won from Angie from aquiltingreader'sgarden . , I have been wanting to learn all i can about applique. So i will devour this book.

I love scrap quilts. Will be a great way to use them up. Did love the other versions too, even though they didn't quite work out. Lovely wins

I sew blocks and make fabric then cut it into squares the size I want. the good part? the butting become the beginnings of another LOL
