Still Working

Hi friends!
I started the piano keys border for Brad and Aubree's quilt over the weekend.
Didn't know whether to do 1 1/2 inch or two inch so sewed a few and held them up to see and chose 2 inch ones.
It's mostly different fabric but trying to  add some of the fabric that's is in the quilt.  I have fought with this quilt and  will be glad to see it finished.!  I think it takes longer to do than the other way.  But it will be a good way to do My son and his wife a king sized quilt for Christmas.
We had to get up and go see Dr Jeff this morning.  When we bought that new micro wave Tommy was pulling it out of the box as i held it and twisted his back.  Dr. Jeff is a chiropractor.
So all the last few days he has been in his recliner most of the day.
Hi said the pillow i made him early last week pushed him out to much so I made him one by sewing three sides together and putting battening stacked into it, it's not much but seems to work better for his back.
This is the one i made him earlier!  Just to much stuffing!
Have a great day friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

You could get a little wild and crazy and use both size of strips! You've inspired me to dig into my scraps, oh my goodness it's taking forever to cut them into uniform sizes! Any tips or advice to make it go quicker?

Like your piano key borders. You need a corn bag. Almost like a heating pad, but it is filled with seed corn. Heat it in the microwave, and put it on the back. It is a nice moist heat.
