Gracies Quilt

Hi friends!
It now measures W= 67 L=94 and a regular twin is w=68 L=89. I may add a little to each side because we all no that when i wash it it will shrinks but other than that
all i like finishing this top is some clouds in the sky and buying the battening.
I will look in my stash for enough for a backing for it.
When Grandson and his family was here the other day this big limb fell behind the corn crib.
It wasn't storming or the wind wasn't blowing hard it just came down.
When you have old Oaks the branches just fall off at times.
It would have hurt bad if any one had been below it.
Every thing  is coming up good in the garden including the grass, Tommy was hoping it would be dry enough to plow out but it's been to cool to dry much. Lows in the 40th and high yesterday in the sixties.
When it makes up it's mind about the weather it will be summer time and hot as blazes.
Have a great Holiday weekend but drive safely friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

You are really moving along well with this quilt-- very pretty! Glad no one got hurt--we are having March-like winds and cool temps here--I am afraid that BOOM all of a sudden it'll get hot and humid!! Have a great weekend...hugs, Julierose

Gracie's quilt is looking good! We have post oaks here and we spend lots of time picking up the limbs and bits from the trees....or at least Mick does....grin.

Gracie's quilt is pretty! And I know it is cool for right now - but I am happy about it - it will be hot for a long time.

Gracie's quilt is looking so cute. I know we have some "widowmakers" in our trees too. I try to make sure that if it gets windy the kids stay away from them.
