Happy May

Hi friends!
Got a big box this morning but most of of was paper!
Going to try this instead of that rotten thread from Walmart.
I have been using their thread on the bottom and i think that was why i had trouble quilting the bright quilt.

I found the pattern that i am going to use for Gracie's  Rainbow quilt.
It's is designed by Rae of Made byRae  HERE but going to use fabric that i already have.
I think i will start cutting squares this weekend.
Have a great weekend friends.

Oh Barbara--that pattern looks wonderful--I like that you'll be using your stash--so much more personally from you that way! I've only ever used thread from JoAnnes--perhaps I should try others too--let me know how you like that Essential thread...hugs, Julierose

I use the thread from Connecting Threads all the time and have for about 6 years. Chris

it's a lot of work making a quilt, so you should use only the better quality thread. I use Gutermann, but have heard great things about King Tut.

Let me know how your thread goes. I have used Mettler, Superior, King Tut, and Aurifil which I can't say enough good things about them. Love the pattern you chose.
