Quilting!

Hi friends!
A stack of blocks already put together!
I cut backing and battening a little larger than my block and then sandwich just like you would a big quilt.
And yesterday i started quilting them on my feather weight.
I have read of people quilting king sized quilts on theirs but that would be so much work in just turning your quilt around just to sew  a small spot. This looks purple but it's not!
I am doing very simple quilting , my version of quilting in the ditch are near enough!
Very simple but holds it well. I think i am going to have to add a small border but am going to wait and see after i join them  all up which will be a while yet. This is called quilt as you go or GAYG.
You will see it on blogs a  lot because it's a little easier to handle than a queen or king sized quilt would be.
All battening says on the package how far apart you can quilt and it still hold up good.
This is 2 and 1/2 inches apart.
Have a great day friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy
