17 years

Hi friends!
We have been married 17 years today, both of us was 55 when we married and now we are 72 years old.
Time flies when you are happy!!!  We had both lost our spouses to death , i had been married 29 years , he had been married 36.  I had been single for 9 years when i meet him.
After our wedding ceremony, we came off the mountain to our reception that Amy and Abby gave us at Chris and Amy's house. and hubby said this and i remember it word for word!
"This is how we are going to do it. I will make the decisions on my side of the family and you make them for yours and we will back each other 100 percent because our kids are not braking us up"
It's been hard sometimes to do that but it has worked .
I have a hot tempered and tender hearted  man. He is like red haired girl, blows up at the drop of a hat but cools right down.
We have been very happy for all these years and i just hope we get to spend 17 more with each other.
I feel sorry for those people that doesn't have the happiness that we have.
You know you have a great marriage when you spend 24 / 7 together for 10 years and you are still in love.
