Grey Day

Hi friends!
Still cutting! Made two yesterday, i told you this year was slow and have fun and enjoy!
I haven't decided if this is going to be a nine patch or maybe bigger.

I have a big bag of cut up scraps now so i started working  on blocks.
We had a leak so Tommy called son-in-law and he and his helper came over to fix it.
Nice to have a handy man for a son-in-law!
He's a good one!
I made a big pot of soup yesterday so i don't have to worry about what to cook for supper, just heat it up. It's always better the second  day any way!
Have a wonderful sewing day friends.
Hope it's not grey where you live.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

It's always a nice feeling to use up some of the scraps that seem to grow exponentially. We have a bright, beautiful day here today, but rain is supposed to return on Thursday.

the sun actually came out today--but the price we have to pay is that it is frigid--15 mph winds out of the NW and so cold! DH started a fire and I am huddling near it., nice 9-ers. hugs Julierose

Nothing better than a leftover soup or chili. Did you make a big pan of cornbread? Its a must around here with soup. Love your nine patches, makes me want to make a few of my own. But today I'm cleaning up a my sewing mess, not one stitched has been stitched so far today.

Glad you got your leak fixed. What kind of soup was that? And it is a gray and rainy day here too.

We had blue sky and sunshine but it
was cold. Great job cutting up the scraps. Glad you have someone to fix your leak.

Your blocks are nice and scrappy! I like to make big pots of soup too. They usually last at least three days, that way I don't have to spend so much time in the kitchen cooking!
