Rainy Day

Hi friends!
Rainy Day!!!!
You know me, i don't like rainy days even through you need them!
I started making blocks for my first scrap quilt.
This one is for youngest girls step son and his wife.
We had to run to town to pay a bill and it rained on us every step of the way! I want warm summer days , not to hot! Can't wait until we can plant the garden and sit out side in the morning watching it grow. One year we had two weeks of warm spring weather in January and Tommy planted onions.  I don't know how farmers do it , they have to plant early and sometimes around here the ground is still wet until May. Tommy want plant until the ground is dry
I don't feel good today so i am sitting here eating ice cream and drinking hot coffee with it. I am still cutting fabric up as hard as i can.
Sis came over Sat. and brought me two more bags of scraps to cut up, i have finished them and am back to cutting mine up
She is thinking June is when she will retire. Said it would take her that long to get every thing she wants to move up here moved and to get rid of her furniture down there.
Her house up here if full of furniture already
We may do some sew days when she gets moved up here.
If we do i will post it on here.
Have a wonderful day friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

Rain, rain go away--well, at least it's not freezing here, yet! i cannot get to pre-cutting scraps! The few that i have done are never in the right size for the patterns i want to do it seems...aaargh. So, i pretty much pick a pattern, cut up and then sew. hugs, Julierose

I would trade you the rain for my driving the bus on the back roads in the snow. Good job getting the scraps cut up.
