Hi friends!
Still like one row having the main part of the quilt finished.
I am going to put small borders on the sides so it will be wider.
This is the fabric i bought for Jessie's and Richard's quilt.
Remember they got married week before last?
They wanted a beach theme quilt because they went to Fla. for their honeymoon.
Hopefully i will finish the one that i am working on and will able to start it next week.
The garden is not looking to good, got way to much rain!
The tomato's are full of green tomato's but the bottom branches are dyng from to much water on their roots.
Both the butter peas and the green beans are full of weeds but i can't stand this heat to weed them and Tommy sure can't.
Just have to hope for the best and pull a few weeds every chance we get.
Have a great day friends
Hugs

Your quilt is coming so well; are you using QAYG method? so far I am loving it...have last two borders layered and ready to stitch--this straight line quilting has been my therapy when I get sad these days...it just is easy and keeps me busy concentrating.... P.S. we are SO DRY here (as a bone!!) my poor cherry tomato is gasping and my cucumber is too. I only have two little pot plants this year--and a few herbs: basil, lemon thyme, sage and dill.....hope to expand next year....we should switch for a week...hugs, Julierose
I look forward to a beach quilt - that sounds like fun!
I really like the combination of the School House blocks with the Saw Tooth Stars. That quilt will be beautiful when it's finished.
