Star surrond block

Hi friends!
Beautiful day!
I worked all afternoon yesterday on this block.   Didn't have a pattern to go by but saved a picture and printed it off so i could look at placement and made it!!!
This is what i am making Michael's quilt with.

thought i would show you another block for my christmas quilt.  This will be beautiful when i get through with it.
Got to get to work because i went and got my Janome today!!

Going to play with it and check it out.
