Tie Dyed quilt for Alisha

Hi friends!
We woke up to this !
Now the ground is free of snow because it's to warm.
I cut the bottom of this long piece and added it to the side so she will have one big sheet to cover a queen sized bed. No blocks to make like this.
I sent her some pictures of some fabric for borders and text her mother to tell her to get on face book but she said she was asleep.
So maybe this afternoon she will let me know which one  she wants for the borders.  Schools are letting out early today because it's suppose to get worse later and the temps are suppose to drop all day. Some night time temps in the teens are single digits.
Have a good one
Hugs

So pretty, I remember those tie dyed t shirts of the 70´s. Had loads.

Great use of fabric--that way she'll get the full tie dye effect!! We're in for more snow, too....hugs, Julierose

The fabric would have been fun to make a top, then a border of a specific color or all around, then more of the top fabric.

I'm pretty sure I saw this fabric, or one very similar the last time I was in Hancock's. If I did, it really caught my eye. Very pretty and vibrant color.
