Blake's Quilt

Hi friends!
Joining the blocks !
I used every thing on all the shirts so I will add a black border to get it to full size,
I am joining blocks now  as I figure out how I want them placed .
Kelly wanted his Lacrosse shirt's to take center so you could see them good.
So that's what I plan on doing.
His childhood on a quilt!
His mother is my daughter-in-law's sister. I think Amy is going to bring me Tatum's t-shirts for me to make her one for Christmas.
I hate those small package's of interfacing. So I will order it by the yard for hers.
It should be much cheaper.
If you save , you can buy more fabric, Right?
Hugs
Babs

Absolutely--I just ordered a small pkg of Pellon SF101 Shape flex interfacing for the back of pin cushions--if i like it, I'll order by the yard.
I like how that tee shirt quilt is coming --that is a job well done!! hugs, Julierose

Quilt is looking so beautiful. He's going to love it. It's always cheaper to buy in bulk.

Yes, Interfacing by the yard and a sale or coupon is the way to go. I'm moving around better now and think I'll check out a rack of t-shirts my grandson has hanging in a storage closet. There just might be quilt worthy shirts in there. If nothing else, I know there are shirts with great potential for dread lock doll hair.
