Sister's Trip

Hi friends!
Sis and I went on our day out  together yesterday! In Chattanooga!
In the rain! A hour's drive away.
We carried 8 bags of books back to exchange. Came home with four! We hadn't been this year because sis had surgery and I cut my finger. We read a lot.

I got this book! Plus:

Then we visited Tuesday Morning.
Our closest one is in Chattanooga .

Anna's Quilt

Hi friends!
This is how I left it the last time I posted about it.

I added the next wide row.

A strip and then a row of small stars.

Then another strip. Now all I like is the borders on each side.
I froze most the day yesterday so I made a pot of soup for supper with yellow corn bread.

The veggies I canned! Not this year but last year.
Sure was good

Bibs and Another Top

Hi friends!
Five adult bibs!
With Velcro!

I put two lines of Velcro on the in side so it can be adjusted for a woman or a man. With just one on the side that closes it.

I may make another couple of them.

My fifth wheelchair quilt top.

28 Stars- Quilting Stars

Hi friends!
This is the last step of making blocks.
28 appliqued stars for Melissa of HappyQuilting . Next week is the adding all the blocks together..

Mine are a mishmash of different Christmas charms with five point stars appliqued over them, then trimmed down to 4 1/2 inch's. There was a different star but we could choose what we wanted to do . A four point or five.
That is all I got done all week end because we had home coming at our church. I for got to take pictures until clean up.

We had a great time!

We had  90 to feed and had plenty of left overs.
After we cleaned up we came home and hit the couch or recliner!
Took a couple of hours to recover.

Yesterday

Hi friends!
Finished up two yesterday.

Charm squares and the last one is some blocks left over from a quilt I made my daughter a few years ago.
Great way to use up old blocks.

One adult bib!
Yesterday while looking for something I came across a project full of five inch tumblers. Will empty that box and make another.
That will make five !  I may or may not finish the one I didn't like.

Adult Bibs

Hi friends!
So far I have four that just needs Velcro added with another cut out.
I am backing these with flannel that I have in my sewing room.

Different ones as long as they are big enough to fit the pattern that Carolyn brought to Q-Bees.
Tommy says I have more fabric than Walmart but It's not all big enough to fit the pattern.
All of it is leftovers from other quilts unless I have just bought it recently.
I worked a while yesterday on this.

Finished quilting it and added binding.

After trimming !
Yesterday we went outside to find this.

This picture refused to turn for me! This baby is going into the shop soon.
I order mine from Walmart with what saving catcher's  found but soon they are changing that. guess people were getting to much money.
I will have to get my daughter to walk me through that change.
Need  that money for my battening!

Wheelchair Quilts

Hi friends!
My first finish on the wheelchair quilts. They need to be 36 by 45.

Ran out of idea's on this one so I will take a brake for a few days.
We were sitting outside drinking our coffee this morning when a big wad of bees fell down on the porch. Tommy went and got the wasp spray and got that nest, we hope.
They are awful this year every one is getting stung.
Their seems to be millions of them!
Building high does that mean snow?
We need a hard freeze to kill off some of these insects.
