Graduation

Hi friends!
Last Saturday morning we went to see Jarrod and Allie graduate.
They were born after Tommy and i got married and i used to keep Jarrod for his mother to work on my days off.
I remember him toddling around with the prettiest smile all the time. Allie , i remember stopping at their house and this little bundle of blond curls and blue eyes running and jumping into my arms. I would have grabbed her and spinned her around if it had broke my back.
Well Sat. was their big day. Both are going to college!
Jarrod gave a speech during the ceremony. He did great! He used to be so shy but Football brought him out!
The grand baby's are all growing up! Have a good one

Friday finish

Hi friends!
The quilt i gave my cousin is my Friday finish.
I quilted it when we got back home from our trip.
I never did get to the fence with it , just finished by the skin of my teeth.
She loved it so it was well worth the rush to get it done.
My Aunt Eddies quilt i posted last week as a Friday finish.
This is it nicely folded!
It was raining when i finished this one and i finished the other Sat. night gave it to her last  Sunday.
Have a great weekend

Garlic Knot's

Hi friends!
I ironed it back and front yesterday and then sat  down to watch the latest quilt-cam.
I was fascinated by the Garlic Knot.
So course when it finished i had to make one!

Aren't those pretty? Stolen from the computer!

These are neat!
The name of the block seems like it would be good for a man's quilt but Tommy might think it's to pretty.
I do love to make blocks!
Have a good one

MY Daughter's Quilt

Hi friends!
Last week was finishing the two quilts that i gave away Sunday but i hadn't forgot my daughter's birthday quilt.
I made the backing and then spread out the battening!
Added her Chevron flimsy!
It's so big i have to roll it up.
Now it's ready to be ironed back and front.
The other day i clicked on Missouri Star and they had a Winnie the poo charm pack I right away pictured a falling charm baby quilt.. So i ordered it but you can't send a order for 2.22 so i got a few more things.
I needed this like i needed another hole in my head!
You remember the DR. put me on antibiotics, well as soon as i finished them i got right back the same way!
I go outside to drink my coffee and i get all stopped up.
Miserable!
I am so tired of this pollen, seems like it been here for months and is never going to go away!
Hopefully some day soon i will be O.K. again.
Have a good one

Friday Finish

Hi friends!
Tommy is holding the quilt so i can get a picture you can tell he has never done this before but best that i could do since it's raining outside.
Tuesday i think i had four together, just liked one.
Adding the last row!
This is all i had left of the saching.
So far so good. Kim helped me pick out the binding fabric.
So now it's in the washer then a label and a finish.
I'm giving this to my Aunt because i didn't like the other and haven't finished it.
Have a great weekend
