I will draw a winner next weekend.
My daughter knew I had wore out two of the smaller size mats so she got me a bigger one for Christmas.

Santa Came

Hi friends!
Santa Claus came!
Both came this morning!
Yesterday we were sitting in the living room when a mail truck came up the driveway.
On Sunday!
Brough my order from Connecting Threads.
I ordered a large 505 for using to sandwich quilts.
But you know me , I can't just order one thing!
It was on sale!
Can't pass up a sale.
My sweater was hanging on my chair with this on it.
A really sweet girl gave me this after I help get her step father re-elected. I had grown up with him and knew he was a honest man. My only time of working for any politician.
My tree at night!
Not much longer. I have finished two of the three quilts I was going to give at Christmas.
Hoping to finish the last before Friday so I can spend two days cleaning house.

Pictures From My Walk

Hi friends!
Got three walks in but had to do it in three days.
It's raining today and It did Monday.
It's probably got lots more water running in it today.
One side of my walk is near the road, can't even see it in the summer.
We are blessed with rocks!
Don't know how his parent, grand parents and great grand parents every made a living with all these rocks!
Have a great weekend

This one will go in Tommy a quilt, I have been buying fabric for it here and there  all year .

And this one will go into a quilt for a Veteran this year.
We decided that each one of us would make a quilt for a veteran this year.

Yesterday

Hi friends!
I counted the coke ornaments on my tree...16!
Their may be a couple more left in my tub that I keep them in.
Yesterday Tommy had a apt. with his eye DR. , they ran a few test and now he has a apt. with a specialist in Feb.
His freckle on his eye hasn't changed at all so that's the good news, but they found other problems.
afterwards we went by Harbor freight to get his Christmas present.
That's what he wanted!
And I got the free thing!
Place to put my loose pins. Then we shopped a while in the pouring down rain.
Sure were glad to get home out of the rain.
Weather man said no rain for yesterday!
Well the sun is finally out for one day before it clouds up for the next rain.
Got to walk today!
We had frozen fog this morning!
You can see the ice on the ends of the branches.

Wheelchair Quilts

Hi friends!
Saturday was our day to give out wheelchair quilts in Alabama.
First we visited this great fabric shop in Center. Wonderful fabric for 4.99 and 5.99. Then on to lunch at a really neat place.

We talked and laughed until time to go to the nursing home.
With the Lady that does the activities.
Then sis and I went looking for Tommy's cousin Mary.
From where we were we had to get into the car and drive all the way around in the pouring down rain.
It poured down all day!
Then ask for directions to where she was.
Her eyes were open until the flash went off. But she loved it and that's what counted!
Maybe it will keep her warm for many more years.
