Deers and squares

Hi friends!
I already have 5 of these blocks already quilted!
So i should make another quilt with them, Right?

I went out to take clothes out of the dryer and there was a deer in our yard.
By the time i got my camera he was across the street.

between one shot to another he just disappeared!
That fence is pretty high but Tommy says they can jump over it!
To bad i didn't get a shot of that.

I added two more rows of three inch squares around the car's on Dawson's quilt. But spent most of the day sitting with Tommy, he was really sick.
Yesterday he got up with a breaking out all over him so i called the Dr.s office and went and picked up some more pills.
 Now he is taking a z-pack plus benadryl but he's a little better today.
Getting sick on the weekend when your Dr is out of his office doesn't work!
Me i just go to the closest Dr i can find but not Hubby!
Maybe he is on his way to recovery now.

Two Finish's

Hi friends!
I started this a few days ago but didn't have enough binding to finish it.
So when we went to Walmart i got some and over the weekend i finished it up.

All finished now!
And the other one!

This is the one that had a wreck on my newest machine!
But the problem was the thread and it went into the trash!
So that's two finish's!
Two more to add to the stack of baby things for our soon to be g-g's

Small Finish

Hi friends!
A Monday Finish!
A very simple Christmas table runner.

See how dry every thing is here , we are in extreme drought!

I just got back from carrying Tommy to the Dr.
He though he might have strep because so much of that is going around but the swab said different!
He gave him antibiotics to combat a sinus infection.
I tried to get him to go to the urgent care but he is stubborn.
As long as his lungs are clear!

Sunday Prayers

September Finish's

Hi friends!
Sylvia's quilt was my only big finish!
Lots of bibs and burp cloths and one baby quilt!

Sable's baby quilt, was finished this month.

I finished Sable's baby blanket last night! So that counts. Started a few like the Christmas table runner but haven't quilted it yet and a another surprise but that will have to wait until later in October for me to tell you about it and it's not finished either. Plus Jessie's turkey table runner!

Lots and lots of these for our next two great grands. Have a good weekend

Scraps and a router

Hi friends!
Day before yesterday i needed more three inch squares so i spent the afternoon cutting them up.

Now it's full again.
I need to cut every weekend so i can empty some totes on the back porch.
When i got up yesterday i turned on my internet and it worked for a while and went off. I messed with things started and restarted it and it came on for a few minutes and went off again. My router was nearly 5 years old and the cheapest. So we  went  to walmart and got a new one. The last one you installed with a c.d.,not this one!
My computer is just a year old and i hadn't installed any thing on it so it took me a while to figure it out. Buy then i was so tired i didn't do anything else .
Amazing how tired you can be clicking on things for nearly two hours!
I had it on by 4 and i started after my hair apt. at 2 !
I stopped to load and unload the dryer and other things , so i wouldn't pull my hair out!
It would tell me to close it down and restart my computer and then i would lose the installer.
Oh well it's done for a few years maybe.

Yesterday and New bib fabric for Sable

Hi friends!
Yesterday i went through my stack of baby things and realized i had not made burp cloth's for my monkey bibs and i still needed to make another bib for a burp cloth so i did that.

One bib i really didn't have enough fabric left so i pieced it.

This came this morning , fabric i ordered for Sable.

That completed the matching sets. Going to have to find some flannel to make Bentley's brother's a blanket because i made Sable one. I did get another car finished.

On his quilt!
I need some ideas for Sable a quilt but i am sure i will see something i love before to much longer.
We went to the funeral of my nephew today. He was 64 years old and had cancer.
 He was just a child when i married my first husband many years ago.

Baby Things

Hi friends!
I made two John Deer one's bibs so far, if i can find more scraps from that quilt i will try to make a few more.
Sable's Mother told me she would love to have some. And i know Bentley's little brother will like them.
I started Bentley's little brother's quilt. As soon as they decide on a name i will change that!

I cut out another car for it but haven't finished it yet.
Thinking about maybe some tractors to or a truck!

I got some pink binding to do her a precious moments bib to.

Her's will be pink trimmed.

Sable's Blanket

Hi friends!
Missy's youngest son and his wife are having a girl so i get to do little girl things.
Her Dora blanket!
These are quick to work up and i used one of the stitches on my brother 6000.

It doesn't have a lot of good stitches but this one is a vine with leaves on both sides.

I bought this flannel with this in mind but we have had boys since then , I did make Olivia one before she was born just recently.
That Brother 6000 is bad to pull lots of thread up from the bobbin and mess up the stitch.
It's the one i bought me for Christmas last year. It had good reviews but it not as good as my big brother. Of course i gave 7 times as much money for it but i needed one to do zig zag to fix Tommy's work clothes.
It did it once while i was working on this.

I guess it would work for a boy but i just think girl when i see Dora.

Garden 9/3/3016

Hi friends!
See the red bird eating seed on the little swing?

This is our view every morning while we drink a pot of coffee.
Hubby gave the garden a hair cut!

We are still getting a few tomato's , very small. bell peppers , banana peppers and orka.

August Finish's

Hi friends!
This is what i finished for the month of August.
My Aunt Geneva's Quilt.

My Christmas tree skirt. Looks different inside and out side!

And lots and lots of bibs and burp cloth's.
It's cooler this morning but they are saying the 90's will be back.
 I will be glad to see Fall.

Bibs

Hi friends!
 We had to make a apt. for Tommy's Cat Scan yesterday and visit the lab. Now if you are over 70 they do blood work before they do a Cat Scan.
Then we went to Tractor supply where Tommy got some ramps so he could change our oil in the car and truck. Then i found "The Stitchery" They had moved it since my last visit.
 He came in with me and helped pick out the tractors for Bentley's little brother..
Couldn't find any thing great for a little girl so when we got home i sent off a order for some ballerinas fabric.
The other fabric is great for little bibs or the backs of bibs.

The yellow is a fat quarter that i liked.
We didn't get home until 5 o'clock after eating out and sis came over for a while so i just got a little sewing done.

I got two bibs done and one burp cloth.
They make great bibs for boys.
Maybe i can get some more done today.
