started gracie's  pink and purple quilt

Hi friends!
Beautiful day !
By daughter brought Angel down yesterday to get her quilt, she hugged me several times so i think she liked it.
The second picture is what i won from Kelly at live love and create. love that fat quarter it will fit right in with Gracies pink and purple quilt, that i am making now. And i really needed that ruler to show me if my seams are off.
Had to make Gracie some stars too because she is my star.  She is one of our 9 g-gs, my daughters oldest grand.
I went to Walmart today and got some more pink , didn't like the pink i had gotten before it was to Orange. Hope this works better .  Going to work on it today and see.
I will post on it later.

Finished!

Hi friends!
Beautiful day!
Finished it last night.  Maybe i will give it to her this weekend.  I just hope that she likes it.
The ground was wet so i didn't let it lay there long.  Just got a couple of pictures and grabbed
 it back up.We had storms last night but thankfully we didn't get any bad weather.
We had to go get parts for the tiller today.  While hubby was plowing with it, the ldlier broke and burned up the belt.
It's always something braking around here hubby has so much to play with.

Working! And a win!

Hi friends!
Warm and the sun was shining.  Don't like that today because storms are coming in this afternoon.
If it gets in the 80th we could get some bad weather.
I have been working hard on my quilt. maybe by tomorrow i will have a finish but we have to go to town tomorrow so it could be Sunday or Sat.
At any rate i will finish it soon.
The mail man brought me a goody   linda  from living 4 quilting. i had seen these books all over blogland and wanted to try one before i bought a bunch of them.  Or how ever many i could find at Mckays. my favorite used book store.

Angels quilt and other things!

bom block for march! late!

got this in the mail !

Beautiful day!
The first block is my crafty block for march, very late.  But i was so busy last month i didn't get it finished.
The other blocks go into Angel's quilt.   She said she wanted blue and that fabric looked so much bluer in the fabric store.
It's mostly scrappy blocks from blue scraps in my stash.
The card i got from Erin for making some blocks for her quilt's for sandy storm families.
I wish i could have done more.
I am going to put stars in all my grandkids quilt's because they are my stars.
I came home from going to Hancock's tired and then we had company so i didn't start Angels quilt until Sat.   But i made 12 blocks while hubby was cutting the grass . Then Sunday i finished my march bom block and got back on her quilt later .  Been working hard on it and i am hoping to get it to her this weekend.  That's a new time for me.  If i get it done by Sat. that will be one week.
K.T. got in touch with me yesterday and i will be sending her fabric off to her in a few days.

D.J. and Brad bought this over for me to work on to add some pink ruffles. That will make them 2 little girls.

She will be sweet Clair's little sister.  They just new it was going to be a boy!!!

We were in Hancocks yesterday and hubby spotted this.  He said you need this , you are always taking seams out! He is so right. And it has a light so i can see my mistakes better.

Blue quilt for my shop

Cloudy day!
Started a blue baby quilt for my shop,  i have a pink one for it already added.
The fabric is "snowball" by Nicole De Leon  for the Alexander Henry fabrics collection and a blue solid.  The snowball fabric i won in a blog hop giveaway..
I searched but couldn't find that e-mail .  But trust me it's very pretty fabric.
It's going to be a beautiful baby boy quilt.
We found out the gender of our 10th great grand and it's going to be another girl.   Clair will have a sister.
So i will put some pink around the edge of the blanket i crocheted for D. J. and make a  another pink quilt for her.  I have until august to get it to her.

Quilts delivered

Beautiful but cold!
I gave both quilts to the ones i was making them for. Our star ball players.
I think they both liked them.
They are both really good at sports.
That is their early birthday presents.


Last but not least i won a 20$gift card from  Holly from bijoulovely
And i got a lot of goodies from christaquilts and she included that great sewing machine fabric.  Don't you just love it!!!.  I got 5 yards of fabric and some quilting gloves.  She has some great buys and the cutest fabric.

Easter

Hi friends!
Beautiful today!
We had a great time , those of us who were here.
2 whole families and assorted grand kids didn't come.
I had faith that god would provide and he did.  We had a great dinner and egg hunt.
That's our Clair on her great great granddaddy's tractor.
She acted like she was really driving that thing.  Gear shifting like she had seen her daddy do.
Hope your Easter was as great as ours.  We missed those that didn't come.
Hope you have a great day.    I am taking it easy today, and maybe a little sewing.
