Anna's and Christmas sewing

Got thru with making stars , I think. At least enough to start on her borders.

I got the 30ths charm packs that I needed for a Christmas quilt.

Already started cutting from the template that Dawn sent me.

See! She had already sent me one and it got lost in my sewing room.

Hi friends! 

Praying for the people on the coast .

Chris and Amy were down there yesterday but were on their way home last night. He had to check on some of their jobs.
I have done a little sewing , lots of ripping!

I quit , got tired of taking out seams. When you feel bad things just don't go right

I will work on it today.

I have felt so bad since Monday that I just couldn't get any thing done. Started on antibiotic's yesterday .

I like this with the black on the outside but not crazy about it so I will look at it a few more days.

We are having a family reunion here next Tuesdays {could change} I need to do some deep cleaning.

Maybe tomorrow!

My Mother's day flower's has nearly reached the tree I have beneath it.

Pink sunset! Last night through my sewing rom window. This is the East so it just reflected on the clouds.

I buy one Christmas ornament  a year because I have totes full!

Weekend Work

Hi friends!

My fifth wheelchair quilt.

I must get back to my sewing. I want to have three quilts finished by Thanksgiving to give to my grands and Abby. And I want to be far enough along to finish three more by Christmas.

So I am going to have to get busy!

My baby is sick and I will have to take her to see her DR. My featherweight!

So right now sewing on this !

So I did get some sewing done over the weekend.

Anna"s Quilt, Border? and Binding

Hi friends!
I needed to make some more stars for the border and pillow shams.

I made two so far.

Trying to find something I like for the borders. The black has sparkles like some of the fabric in the quilt but the one on top next to it I kind of like , It's old style Christmas. Burgundy on the bottom and I like the red on the right to.

I got this quilted yesterday  and added the binding.

I used some of the dollar a pound fabric for the binding. I have always loved stripes for binding.

Another Wheelchair Quilt

Hi friends!

 A while back I was looking for something and found these already cut tumblers so I started sewing them together for my fifth wheelchair quilt.

Made one that when I trim it will be the right size, 36 by 45.

Last Sat. I got it sandwiched!

Got it ironed Monday are Tuesday, now it on my quilting machine for me to quilt it. That tote is still full so many next year I will make another one . I made one from it  last year .

Sister's Trip

Hi friends!
Sis and I went on our day out  together yesterday! In Chattanooga!
In the rain! A hour's drive away.
We carried 8 bags of books back to exchange. Came home with four! We hadn't been this year because sis had surgery and I cut my finger. We read a lot.

I got this book! Plus:

Then we visited Tuesday Morning.
Our closest one is in Chattanooga .

Anna's Quilt

Hi friends!
This is how I left it the last time I posted about it.

I added the next wide row.

A strip and then a row of small stars.

Then another strip. Now all I like is the borders on each side.
I froze most the day yesterday so I made a pot of soup for supper with yellow corn bread.

The veggies I canned! Not this year but last year.

Bibs and Another Top

Hi friends!
Five adult bibs!
With Velcro!

I put two lines of Velcro on the in side so it can be adjusted for a woman or a man. With just one on the side that closes it.

I may make another couple of them.
