Bad day for sewing!

Hi friends!
Yesterday i started quilting again, first it broke thread several times then it messed up. So i ripped all; that out , worked on my thread up and quilted a beautiful top row of quilting only to turn it over to a mess! Spent the rest of my sewing time ripping that out!
Some days it just doesn't work.
We went for a walk in our woods yesterday and saw several of these.
Here is a close up. Well a closer up!!!!
No a good close up! There was 3 or 4 of these in the woods but we don't know what they are , I couldn't  get closer because they were way off the trial and under brush was to thick.
The red buds are blooming all over and the Bradford pears are beautiful , but it's getting colder tonight and near freezing for a couple of nights next week before it gets back to 70ths. Just pray for a pretty Easter so the kids can hunt Easter Eggs.
Hope you have a great weekend
Hugs
Quilt Happy

I know what you mean - some days are better than others for sewing - you have to be in the groove.

It's been that kind of day for us too. Things going wrong and it has turned cold and wet. Hoping for a better day tomorrow for both you and us. XXXXX

Redbuds!! Cannot wait to get home to see ours, and we have a Bradford pear outside in the boulevard of our street. Won't be blooming for another month I suspect though, a little further north than you! That sucks on your tension issues. The white flowers in the woods look like Lily of the Valley on steroids! LOL

Those sewing days need a good walk.

I had that day too. I tried to quilt and was not happy with my first pass, so took it out. The flowers you are showing remind me of an old fashioned plant which can get into a tall bush or even a tree which were called a flowering almond.

it must have been the day. everything that could go wrong here too did. grrrrrrrrr...... good idea to take a walk and although I dont know what that tree is, it is certainly pretty. we are getting a potential of 10 inches of snow Sun into Mon. my plants will all die. Easter is too soon. hope your grands can hunt for eggs. have a great weekend

I am a firm believer that Nature can shake off any bad vibes that get in your way. Lovely pictures. We are a few weeks away from red bud blossoms.
