Last day of the giveaway

Hi friends!
Dreary day here!
I added some' Camo' to this block.  Don't forget my giveaway, tomorrow is the last day!  Enter here

I may make another one with 'camo' today because it's going to take at least 4  to cover the top of the  bed.

I made these 3 yesterday!
Tommy and i are rubbing down today!  Don't know whether it's the whether it's the weather or just 'arthor' that has us hurting.  I got Tommy a neck heating pad , ordered it Sat. and it came yesterday, he likes it!

He says when he has it on it stops the pain but when he takes it off it hurts again.  He has a habit of looking behind him when he cuts on the lawn mower and all  that leaf cutting may have brought it back.
That's the side of his neck that he had surgery on years ago.
My wrist has gave me fits the last few days and makes it hard to sew.
But today it just seems to be very sore so maybe it's  getting better.
Have a wonderful day friends

Today

Hi friends!
Well we got our tree up last week, no presents under it yet. Plastic ornaments on the bottom for little fingers!

I went really spare with it at first and liked the way it looked but couldn't stop putting ornaments in the empty spots!
I was up Friday night adding at 2 o'clock. I couldn't sleep!
Then Saturday night the wind howled all night and keep me awake. I made up for it last night!!!
I saw this video on u-tube called 'folded Cathedral Window Ornaments'.

Of course i had to make some.  I made 4 and   Saturday when Sis. came over i showed her how and she took her's to show to a friend! I told her the name of the video just in case she needed to watch it.

I also made 4 of these to go into Caitlin's quilt!
I have a little 'Camo' fabric here some where so i though i would look for that to add in here and there.
They said horses to but all i have is little cowboys  that i put in great grands quilt.
Have to get busy so i can get the Christmas present made by Christmas!
Have a great sewing day friends.

Whittle's Fabric

Hi friends!
Getting cold here!
I got this fabric that i ordered today.
I loved the paper doll fabric and at 3.50 a yard i had to order some more
to go with it..
I got 5 yards for about 22.00 dollars. That was with shipping! Their shipping is 5.00.

They have some good fabric and good prices  which i liked and i will be ordering from them again.
When Tommy saw that on the top he said' Shower curtain"  One yard will not make a shower curtain.
Some very pretty fabric to brighten my day.
Now just to see what i can make with it!
Have a great sewing weekend friends

Caitlin's Quilt

Hi friends!
Cloudy day!
I found a great block to showcase the tractors.

It works really good most of the time.

You do a nine patch and then you cut in  the middle both ways so that you have 4 blocks and move them around any way you want to and sew them back together.

I did a few yesterday.   Maybe 6 and two the day before.
Got to go to see if i can find any more of that green, cross your fingers!
Have a wonderful sewing day friends.

Yesterday

Hi friends!
Beautiful day!
Not sure i like this block but that's all i had to show.
Sis and I spend the day in Chattanooga yesterday!
First stop was McKays , we left here with a car loaded down with books and came back with me a box full and Sis one bag full.
Then we hit JoAnns,  she said i saved 66 dollars but i paid 68 dollars. They had a buy one get one free on blades so i got 2 packs of each plus some fabric.  Got 3 yards of two that are nearly solids to use as solids for my next quilt, maybe and some red with white dots.
Always get me some needles but i forgot to look at the rulers.
Our Jo Ann' [Chattanooga]has the very nicest people working in it.
Then we went to Kohls where Sis was looking for a toy, and Petco for Sis's dogs.
We always go to 'Tuesday Morning' to see what we can find.  I found one Christmas present  and bough a new skillet. Then we eat lunch at Panerra bread.
We always hit Hamricks on the way back , had to get Christmas shirts for the Holidays.
Always love shopping with Sis, but how much longer will we be able to shop?
It does wares us out.
I want be posting the next two day, we are having Thanksgiving tomorrow with Tommy's kids
and the next day with mine.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving friends.
