Danette's Quilt

Hi friends!
I trimmed all the blocks over the weekend.
The first row that i got together was the smaller size. They measured 18 inches but these were 19 inch and more . Don't know how that happens.
This should be plenty long enough but i will have to add a small border on the sides and sandwich them and add them on.  Going to use the rest of the burgundy. But first i must get all these joined together.
The low this morning, yesterday it was 52 but got to 75 .
The man across the road has a field of rag weed blooming and we sat out side yesterday , my head weights a ton!
I just wish he had had it cut down before now, it's to late now.
Tommy tries to keep it away from us because it does a number on both of us.
Have a great day friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

I had to move inside today too because of the ragweed and goldenrod blooming in this drought here. Our whole dingle is full of it off of our deck!! Ack!!
I managed to sew some strips for my Scrappy Trips and then used my GO!BABY to cut all the orange 5" squares for my grandson's quilt--after seeing your quilt here though--I am wondering if I should change course and make something easier than this plus thing....I want to do Quilt As You Go and don't know how I would use that method for the tessalating plus signs?????

I HATE it when I cannot decide!! Hugs, Julierose

Those blocks are really pretty. It sounds like fall is quickly arriving there.

We were cool too in the 40's this morning and only in the mid 60's by the end of the day. Had to argue with the boys about wearing a jacket. Ragweed is that the yellow tassely looking stuff?
