Our Weekend

 Hi friends!

Sent some bowl cozy's to my sister in law and brother in law yesterday. Today I am going to replace some to go back into the stack for who ever needs them. then make some-more for family.

Some more of these to.

Sat. we had a t-bone dinner at brother and sister in laws for both my brother and hubby.

My sister bought the t-bones, the  thickest  I have every seen . More like roast. We finished them off yesterday!

I made a sweet potato pie with splenda.  It was very good! Hubby and I finished off what was left when we got home.

Made a pile of various sizes for them. Maybe we will have time to carry them to them next week
 

Got most of the lower half done!

So many black for the back ground that it's taking me a long time to make a dent in it.

Maybe I will get a lot done over the weekend, maybe while the race is on!

Santa Diamond Painting

Hi friends!

After one week I still am not finished with the bottom half. Going to be pretty !

Will have to look for a frame so I can hang it when Christmas comes around.

Remember last week Hubby went to the Dr? Well he got out to soon and worked in the heat {90''s plus} and coughed his head off night and day all weekend. I was threating another visit to the Dr. but he got better Sunday night!  Managed to sleep all night!

I am going to make a few bowl holders for Hubby's Sister and her Husband , they said their's that I made them earlier was wearing out from use! And that's great!

Sister Shopping day!

My latest haul from Walmart! Love Pioneer woman's towels!

This one is hanging on my oven door! Sewed some buttons onto some more of that stack I had sewed up on Tuesday!

Yesterday Sis and I spend the day in Chattanooga! Hit McKay's and got two bags of books , took ten bags up there and left them..

We ate a Panera"s Then we hit up" Hamricks" My receipt said I saved over thirty dollars!

I very seldom buy dress's but you know me and fabric:

I just had to have that!  Hubby loved it!  Was surprised by that!

We always enjoy our days shopping together! More fun than shopping with a man! But Tommy is great about

saying "buy that"

I am the one that puts on the brakes!!!

I wiped one store out of it's pot holders last time I went so I may try another store next time.

Tommy bought me a back brace yesterday.

It helped so much , wore it all day yesterday with frequent times of taking it lose and applying lineament.

Today so far no pain.

My whole family has bad backs!!!

It would help if I lost a few pounds! But since I will be 80 in Nov. doesn't seem like I should worry about it.

Stay safe that new strain of Covid is bad they say.

Diamond Paintings

 Hi friends! 

My latest diamond painting. This should last a while.

I just did two small ones!

Finished the puppy dog last week and started this one that my daughter gave me .Lavender dog!!!

You only added the diamonds for the feathers. This is the one my daughter gave me, lovely!

Hubby got me a back brace! my back gives me fits every once in a while with no apparent reason. Just turning wrong!

Our Monthly Quilt Meeting

Last night was our meeting of our quilt group!

The quilt over this is one other group is making to be raffled off to help put a roof on a couple of our members Church.

Diamond Painting

Hi friends!

He sparkles so pretty but I have never seen a lavender dog before! I really though there would be more white! 

Spent yesterday going with hubby to Dr. and then going to pick up antibiotics. He was sick all weekend! He missed going to my daughter's Sat. night after cutting the grass Friday late so we could go. Tried to get him to go to urgent care but he refused. He doesn't like going to a Dr. that doesn't know his history.

The forth was spent just the two of us here!

Sat. night I left him at home and went to eat with my daughter and my grands! She gave me this:

I am working on it now! She had bought it off a bidding site for a dollar! Good price!
