Finished this up!And started this one!Yesterday I did a bit of sewing! more than I have lately!
Still need to finish, but I want to buy some interesting buttons!Need to put together a few more.
Finished this up!And started this one!Pardon please my nasty ironing board. I use it for every thing in my sewing room. Really needs a new cover!
As you can see I am putting kitchen towels with pot holders for all my grandkids , still need 10 more finished.
I have made all six of our kids and 12 of my grands one!I just love fabric!. Earlier this week we had the truck fixed, the oil pressure would not stay up! This morning we got up at seven to carry my car to him to work on! My light that says brake would come on and stay on. Hoping it just needs new brakes!
Would really hate to have to buy another car! Bought this one when I retired! Been retired for 19 years I retired at 60! Was hoping it would last me the rest of my life! Had about 20,000 miles on it when I bought it , just broke in good!
Today I hope to get a little work done in the sewing room! Next trip to town I want to find me some big buttons for these.
Have a good one

Their was a sale! Buy four get one free! Who can pass that up?
As you can see, I didn't!
Can't wait to see the free one!
We had a great Father's day here on Sunday. All Hubby girls came to see him! That very seldom happens! Usually it's two or maybe three but all four came!
He was tickled!
Every one bought food and Tori brought our youngest great grand until August when her next one will be here , another boy that I made that last baby quilt for.Made him two blankets and a baby mat that plays music.I have been making different styles of hanging towels for the oven door.
Not as pretty as Dawn's but hoping to do all the females in my family at least one.Still haven't started the quilting on this!
Last year with the lock-down I made a quilt for my brother who was in the Army. I think Mrs. Bonnie made several for service men last year , she hand stitch's all the quilting.
So thankful for our sisters in the group.
Then we went to see my daughter to carry David his card , he graduated from high school. The dates got missed up and I didn't get to attend! He is our last grand to graduate from High School.
Lots of our grands are attending college.
But Tatum graduated earlier this year , Alisha is attending I think to do landscaping. She planted her a garden.
Addie lou is in Costa Rica at a vet clinic down there for four weeks and son and his wife went down to fly back with her. She is their baby! She lives in Athens Ga. and is attending Georgia
Like I always say "smart and handsome and beautiful! but I might be a little bias..
Have a great day

Charlotte made this for her hubby! Charlotte is on the left! He was in the Army.
This was our second meeting with our quilt group after last years pandemic.
Sis was off with her life long friend Carmen so I went by myself, it sneaked up on us this month! Not as many as usual but still quite a few!
Gladys had lost her sister just a few days ago so she wasn't there.
We lost Diann , the one that started our group, during the pandemic but from cancer!

Back to this!
Backing!Sandwiched! I only had poly so I am going to try lots of quilting to kind of hold it flat.
New Great-grand to be's quilt!
I still need to sew that last few inches and it will be a finish. And wash it of course!
I have a haunted camera!!! I take a picture , then my cameras takes one or two.
Just like a couple of colors and I will be finished with this!I had these blocks already made and our quilt group each member is making a wheelchair quilt for the nursing home again.
So I though I would use them! I have more quilts then I can store!!!
I sewed three across and it measured 37, the finished size is suppose to be 36 so that pretty good.
We had our family get to-gather at my brother's yesterday!
Mia [redshirt} is going to Ga. Teck, very smart child!
