Hi friends!!
Windy and cold here!
 Pray for all those north of here , they are flooded or have  way to much snow!
Most have no power!!!     We have been there!!    I lived in town in 93 when we got 26 inches of snow but my daughter had no power for 2 weeks.  Mine was off 2 days.  But like i said i was in town!!!  Not in town now!!!

See my sis's other quilt!!    Is that not beautiful?    I love that!!!     She made it for her bed, it's bigger than a king.

Hubby got his Christmas today.   A plow for his tractor!!!
He is easy to buy for.     But he wants expensive things.

Hi friends!
Nasty day  , cold and windy , of course fifty's are not really cold but that wind off of sandy is making it feel like it is.
My sis came over Saturday and brought the most beautiful quilt's.
Who would have though that black and roses would go together so beautifully?
I fell in love with that black and roses!!!
It's a large lap quilt and that's not all she brought but you will have to wait until tomorrow to see  what else and believe me it is worth the wait.
That amazing quilting just floors me.    But i will never be able to do that, however i would be happy to be able to machine quilt mine.   Some day maybe!!!

I ordered that basketball fabric for a pillow for a grandson.. Just about got it made.
I think my christmas table runner needs something else maybe some christmas balls.
That's pink quilt behind it.   Just needs binding but i am not sure what i wont to bind it with.

Beautiful day!!  80 degrees!!!
I am still working on my table topper and my blanket .
I am going to be mean!!!  I don't know why our postal service can be broke when Amazon sends every little thing in different boxes just so they can charge you shipping on each piece!!!!!
Two are three little pieces of fabric can cost you 20 dollar's before they get Thur sending them to you!!!
I'm thou now.  I am retired so i can't afford amazon so don't let me do that again .  They just have cute fat quarters and fabric.
I am going to start deleting all fabric shops until after Christmas.   Don't forget my giveaway

Hi friends day 23 of blogoberfest2012!!!
So far so good!!
Beautiful day outside!


I am putting holly leaves and berries on my table runner  .  See the mess!
See my pin cushion.  My tator tot made that for me one christmas!!
Hubby is out side so i have been running the vacuum while he can't  see and fuss.
Does your do that?    Wont's the house clean but wants you to wiggle your nose and it's done.
Don't forget my giveaway from yesterday  Would love for you all to win but that's not possible.
Some great fabric and that angel fabric is nearly a half yd.  I cut some out of it to use on another project.

Fall and pink quilt

Hi friends!
Beautiful day!
Had to show some fall pictures.
I have sewed my quilted panels together.  There is one place that i need to unpick because it puckered right where i quilted it. But then all i need to do is find some thing for the binding.  It will take a lot so i may have to buy some.  My pink sparkly  isn't big enough .
I may have enough of that faded pink that i used on the saching, i will have to see.
I am using a vine and leaf stitch to quilt.
Guess what i have looked everywhere for my book i got with my sewing machine and i finally find it.  Now i can figure out how to  use  the   thread   thing that is suppose to thread your needle.  We shall see!!!
Blogger has messed up my reader!!!!!  I have not been able to read it since yesterday!!!
It keeps saying that i don't have any blogs on my list!!
I had a couple of hundred.  How do you lose something like that?
Well got to find my red felt and see if i have some binding. have a great day.   Quilt Happy

Hi friends!!
Beautiful day!!
My daughter has just left with her kids!!  6 spent the night but jessie had to work and daughter and jessie came to eat breakfast with all of us.
That's 5 of them eating supper  and A, that tried to learn crochet last time they spent the night, learned the granny square.  I think she did pretty good for it to be her first time!!
I miss them already!!!   I fixed 25 biscuits and hubby cooked a lb. of bacon and 1 1/2 lbs of sausage.
Of course there were a few biscuits and some meat left over for the dogs.
Well got to clean the house up and wash dishes.
Got to get out my sewing machine too.  Don't forget the giveaway going to start Monday and run Thur till Halloween

Day 19 of blogtoberfest!!!!  So far so good!!
I wonted that owl fabric, and you know there is a law against buying just one!!  Besides they were on sale.
I love jaqs fabric.
Lot's of pretties to play with..

These are for next weeks giveaway!!   3 fat quarters and nearly 1/2 yard of angels.  I think i will start it Monday and let it run until Halloween.   How does that sound?
