Our weekend

Hi friends!
Yesterday was Tommy's birthday and we had company. I gave Kim her quilt for having eye surgery at her age.
She happened to mention that she would love a scrap quilt and i had some pink scraps.
After they left we sat outside because it was raining and Tonia , His baby girl and Allie  came over and ten minutes later Abby and her family came over so we sat outside until after 8.
You can see my messy sewing room. Fabric piles every where.
My daughter sent him a text later telling him happy birthday, so he had a pretty good birthday.
I made him his favorite strawberry short cake.
Our anniversary is the 9th of August  ,  a great 19 years,so we will go out to eat one day soon.
We eat at home mostly because it's healthier and we eat from our garden.  We just save eating out for special times.
Like times i am to tired to cook!
Those are not to many.
This morning we gathered and this is what we got.
We went a few weeks ago from picking a half bushel of tomato's down to none but i hope it's picking up again.
Have a good one
Hugs
Quilt Happy

Lucky Kim...love her quilt! Hubby and I don't like eating out either. I do eat out quite a bit when taking care of mom. She eats better when its fast food, if we can get to eat it...we buy it. She weights a whopping 104 lbs! I weighted that in the 3rd grade. Tell Mr. Tommy Happy Birthday from Indiana, of course a big ole hug and kiss for the birthday boy!

Happy Birthday Tommy, glad the kids could come over and spend some time with him. His cake looks yummy. I am just starting to get tomatoes from the garden, and noticed that I have green beans which are close to being ready to pick.
