My weekend!

Hi friends!
This was how I left you on Friday!
I did add a strip of black on the top and the bottom. Just realized that that blue I bought just for this quilt is no where in it!
I got that just for this quilt! I will try to work small pieces into it !
We went to graduation and it was wonderful that my grand got his diploma 7 th in line because that heat just about got me.
He was 7 th in  the honor roll.
So proud of my handsome grand son. He wants to be a engineer.
We had storms Sat. night and this came down in the front yard.
I worry about that old tree in the front yard. If it fell it would most likely hit the sunroom.
See that's our sunroom in the background.
Just lucky it didn't takes our power lines with it.
Hope your week end was better

Can't wait to see how you incorporate the blue into the quilt.

I think the blue will add a lot to this quilt...
We are having some pretty heavy rain right now...

He certainly is a handsome boy. Congrats. My oldest Granddaughter is graduating this year as well. Loving the Red and Black.

Congrats to your grandson. I sewed with seven friends on Saturday and had a wonderful time. My son just finished ten years as a computer programmer with a university here in town. If you have enough of the blue, after you put some in the quilt, you could make a pillowcase to go with the quilt.

you must be one very proud granny congratulations to your GS. I worry about a gum tree I planted as it has grown so very quickly and if it came down I am sure would land on my neighbour`s greenhouse he said don`t worry
