Christmas is coming

Hi friends!
Don't forgot my GIVEAWAY.
HERE
I hate when we go to town for a few hours , it mess's up my day.
I started sewing last night and sewed a pin up under another part so I just quit. I will have to use the ripper to get it out.
Ended up on the couch finishing this last quilt for the nursing home.
We carried off the Thanksgiving garbage, went and voted in the run-offs, paid a arm and a leg for our pills and that is with insurance, hit Walmart then I went to the dentist.
Ruined my whole afternoon!
All the sewing I got done was on the couch!
Today we are staying at home so maybe I can get some work done on Christmas presents..
This quilt I am writing Tommy's cousin's name on so maybe it will find it's way back to her when they wash it.
It's a little bigger than the other seven I have made.
So she can cover her feet in bed or use it in a wheelchair and It's flannel on the top so extra warm.
We always had to do Tommy's mother's thing's that way so It would make it back to her.  Still some people would steal her prettier things.
I ordered these from Fabric.com last week, figured it would be this week before it came but got here last Sat.
Had a idea of what to do with the Christmas fabric and the footballs are for Tucker's quilt.
Better get to work.
Hugs
Babs

Haha I hate to admit but I don't mind going out for awhile, but I do like to come home and do things too.

Okay and what you did and what you spent going on - not thrilling things. My meds I have to go rob a bank each time.

We all have those kind of days . . . they seem wasted. Hopefully tomorrow will be better and you will have more time to quilt and no time spent tearing out stitches.
I know what you mean about meds . . . it's a shame.

I’m glad I live in Canada. We have insurance from hubby pension plus the government old people’s coverage. No need to lose arms or legs.
I love how you keep busy making quilts.

We start our day deciding if we HAVE to go out. We are having a bit of snow and ice so if we don't have to go out...it's a good day. I know what you mean about leaving the house messing up your routine.
xx, Carol

Yes, sometimes when you just have to go out for an appointment or somesuch, it messes up the whole morning, when you get home it´s time to get lunch prepared. I sew mostly in the afternoon. Pretty new fabric ordered.
