Still working on that last row for Mia's Quilt.
Thinking about using this tiny dot fabric for the binding. Not decided yet! On this picture it looks sightly pink but it matches better than that. The bigger it gets the harder it is to pull around. Going to be a heavy quilt. On the other end!
Hoping for a finish this week. Stay safe

It's like putting pieces of a puzzle together , all different sizes and shapes. But want be long now!
Rainy day here or rather cloudy all we have got since I got up was a sprinkle. Suppose to get 2 inch's but if both of those "things" out in the gulf come over us we will likely get more than that. Wouldn't mind if it rained all weekend. but they are "Landing" Monday or Tuesday. About that time of the year for them to started.
Hope to get a hour to work on this today. Stay safe

Our trip to the Dr. yesterday was lots better, we were out in 20 minutes instead over two hours the day before. But we were tired form being on the road and sitting in Dr's office for two days so we rested , I got up on washing.
I still have to finish that row and add it to it.
There is her Ga. Teck colors. They do a deeper gold and blue to but primary colors are gold and white. She has already left for college and started classes. but she will have her's before cold weather.
Getting closer and closer.
Yesterday we spent most of the day at Dr. Arkin's office. When we finally got back there , he wanted some test done so we did that and waited to talk to him again. Then they made Tommy a apt. with a Retna Dr., in the same office I went to for my retna detaching a few years ago.
Tommy was so hoping for no apt's next month!
When we got home we were to tired to move! Today we have another Apt for him in Rome with his cancer Surgent, it's been five years and if nothing shows on his cat scan he should release him and he want have to see him next year.! At least we have a couple of weeks before we go again. May just go to bed when we get back!
Stay safe friends

Worked on this a little while last night after canning all afternoon.
Lost a neighbor to covid! He lived across the street from me many years when I lived in town. He was getting better the last we had heard but then this happened.
Put up some more soup starter. I think that's plenty for us. Should last all winter.
Made head way on this though.
Need some more t-shirts cut up for the rest of that row. Four more at least.
Not much longer I hope till this is a finish.

Got some work done on this over the weekend.
Some of these are bigger than others so I am not trying for the same size blocks.. Just the same length.
Put up tomato's Friday , was hoping some one would visit and I could unload some on family. Didn't happen so today more soup starter.
I cut these between rows a little bigger to join the rows, 2 1/2 for in the rows and three for between rows.
Four rows together, that's a good start.
Stay safe, 350 cases here so far.

Alasha came yesterday and played with her machine my Sis gave her. I told her she needed to get a tiny screw driver and showed her mine. Showed her how to fill the bobbin and thread it up. Then I gave her some fabric and a rotary cutter and old mat I had and a ruler to start her off with. Hoping to have one that loves to quilt!
Before she left she helped me gather in the garden and we send some soup starter and a bunch of orka home to her mother.
I showed her how to can while I put this up. three quarts and three pints. Its hard to find canning supplies this year so I am just putting up what I can.
After she left I worked a little while on Mia's quilt. Our tomato's have had so much rain that they are busting while still on the plants. Today I hope to find lids so I can put up some more , I have the big ones but don't know if I have enough of that size jars.
We will see
