T-shirt Quilt

 Hi friends!

Started putting it together in rows!

I started our with two sewed together , figured I would need at least one more row and made that  then yesterday I made up two rows.

After making up  those two I cooked supper and cleaned the kitchen. Then I walked on the treadmill until 9 o'clock when I watched that mess!

While watching I worked on binding the other quilt.

The lady that made the baby quilt that is in the middle used white thread to put in quilting .

Things are really slow on my computer today, take's forever to down load a picture.

Hi friends! A oops!

After taking out and resewing I quit for the day!

I did get some quilting done on each blocks before that so I did get lots done.
We sat out side and drank our coffee with coats on this morning! In the 50's when I looked . And it was a wet cold!

Hate to give it up! Hoping for a warm spell next month!. It's almost next month! Suppose to get colder this week before It warms back up a bit.

Made a pot of potato soup yesterday , that will taste good when reheated today.

We eat a lot of it yesterday! It helps Tommy problems with his stomach.
 I think I can eat just about any thing! I am blessed!

T-shirt quilt #2

 Hi friends!

Worked a little every day over the weekend on these!

Went from this Friday to this Today

Need about four more maybe .

Got this this morning for between the blocks. The back is a mixture of red and black. 

Made this for Tommy last week, my mother used to make small ones ,I make two big ones , one for each of us! That much cures our sweet tooth for a while.
That's my mother's plate to!  I got those when we cleaned out her house to sale.

Adding  Fusible interfacing.

One ready to add battening and backing.

Should get a bunch done over this weekend.

Now to find good backing fabric from my sewing room.

Added one row across the top,And started putting together a row to go down the side.

Added that down one side!

Now just some borders should make it bed sized.

Sis came over , she has been cleaning her sewing room again.

Haven't been thru them yet , will show you what she brought tomorrow.

This is the backing I decided on. Bought at Ft O. when they were having those sales last year. I tried a sheet but was to slippery. Us one of those silky ones! But I changed and ironed the wrinkles out on both side.

Today I want to get it quilted and put the binding on and get started on that.

A friend that we lost a few years ago gave me a cutting of this.

My Mother's Day flowers.

Afraid to plant them because this red clay kills lots of flowers.

I have joined three for across the bottom and three for the top.

Got those sewed on , today I will put together the sides and add them. Think I will use the dotted for the border.

We are still fine, staying away from anyone with the virus .

Don't want to take any chances, The lung Dr. told Tommy he didn't need it.

Making Blocks

 Hi friends!

Started adding battening and backing to these.

Trimming each block.

Tommy went to his eye Dr. yesterday .  I sat outside in the hot car and came home feeling sick, laid around most of the day. So nothing sewed.

But I did get a few of these done earlier.

Got a few finished.

Got my Pampered chief order yesterday about dark!

Amy had a virtual party a few months ago and they finally came. The package looked like it had been drug down dirt roads. Fifty and full of big holes!
