Been lazy the last couple of days! Took me till last night to add the almost that last row!
I did get it sewed to the back but not back down to the front.
Got to come up with a non-sissy binding and I want to add a strip on the top and bottom.
Did any of you'll get one of these?
We ordered these just to have in case we needed them.
But they say these instant one aren't much good!

My next two rows were not long enough so I made two more blocks to add.
That top rows has one of the added blocks . And this is the second block.

working on getting it ready to add the next row!, had to add to the row to make it the right size and then sew on the joining strips.
After sewing down the strips you pin the next row and sew it on to the other three.

Started looking like a quilt!
But there are three more rows to get just the right size before adding and that name strip to get together.
Made a few little things for one of her older sons.
My sis-in-law that is just getting over covid 19, wants some more because she says my potholders are better then the ones you buy. I put instra -bright in mine to shield your hands from the heat and some battening on both sides.
I know what works for me!

Making double pot holders .
That chicken fabric is a Walmart fabric. But it just spoke to me.
I did get some fabric cut for the back of that strip with his name.
Hopefully we will stay at home today and I can get more done.
We went every where yesterday trying to find foam cups for Hubby to drink his coffee in but couldn't find any in our stores.
I don't use them , just a regular cup but he re-uses them to spit in.
May be lots more things we want be able to fine in the coming days!
Did you see our truckers are driving all the way from Calif. to D.C. to try to change all the mandates?
In my 80 years I have never heard of a mandate before!

Making some little things!
Isn't this great fabric for a kitchen?
Working on the t-shirt quilt but for the other sewing I need to get cotton battening , nothing else works for use in the kitchen.
Need it for the black strip near the top of the quilt to.
Hubby loves poly in a quilt but I had reather use cotton. But it does make them lighter and it seems to be just as warm.
T-shirt quilts are heavy enough as it is.

We have been riding the unpaved country roads.
