 How do you like my straight cutting?

I will trim on my cutting table now that I have the pieces kind of cut in smaller sizes.

Trying to figure how just how I want these.

Storms came through yesterday and I unplugged every thing until this morning. Looks like some are on their way for today to.  Our garden is going to wash away!

Our Weekend

Hi friends!

Ordered these because it looks like we will need them for a long time! I have made a bunch but these feel best on your face for having to wear it for a while. They say none of these will stop it but you have to breathe.

Worked on the veterans quilt over the weekend.

Got these Sat. in the mail, though the part for my featherweight might help with the  skip. It's just every once in a while.

So far so good, but I have just sewed over  a few scraps . The other was thread.

Garden 6/27/2020

Yesterday

Hi friends!

Yesterday was some day!!!!

 Tommy had to have a colonoscopy but as soon as we got the paper work filled out I had to give them my tele- number and go wait in the car. My car wasn't in the right place so I moved it near the door where he would be brought out, rolled my windows down and turned it off because it was about a two hour wait.

When they called to say he was fine and would be out in about 20 minutes I thought I would turn on the air, but nothing , wouldn't crank at all!

Waited till they brought him out because sometimes my key want work but still nothing! So we had to call for a jump off!  Cost us 50 dollars!

Took us two more hours before we got home!

Neither one of us had eaten anything so we were tired , hungry and in a bad mood!

Marshalls Dry Goods had a sale . 25 yards of white on sale and since I bought a lot I ordered the 25 yards.

Should last me a long time.

We went inside Panerio Bread ,with masks on  got a salad and then sat outside and ate.

Kim and Richard came over yesterday and we caught up! She came one days weeks ago and we sat out side so we could talk.

All the cutting and sewing I got done all weekend.

The garden is really growing.

And my flowers are blooming good!

Jessica's and Richards Quilt

Hi friends!

I finally finished Jessica and Richards quilt.

Now I will make pillow cases to match.

Pulled all my fabric's that I can use it it.

Plan on making them this weekend .

Hi friends!

Tuesday Alisha my daughter's youngest girl spent the afternoon with me making a quilt.

I think she added one more row of charms.

 

She quilted it in the ditch. I cut her some backing and battening and showed her how to pin.

Sewing on her binding.. She wanted to sew in on the whole thing so We pinned to the back and:

She learned to thread and to wind bobbins.

I forgot to get a picture of the finish quilt but in a pinch she could make one now.

She wants to learn to can this summer when our garden comes in.

Hi friends!

Another good book.

This new blogger is slower than the old one!

I need at least one more row of blocks! Cut them out yesterday and sat down to sew on my feather weight and it's making a mess. To many masks ! 

So I will  drag another machine out from under my sewing table till I get the chance to carry my baby to Rome to Jerry Wood. Don't know if he is even working on machines now are not.

  

                      I got a new camera! Makes much clearer pictures!

Weekend

Hi friends!
Made two stars yesterday.

The world needs laughter right now and Sis came over yesterday and brought this book. I started it last night and laughed till I cried.
I have read about half and it's all hilarious.

Garden is doing good but wet! Three rows of corn because we love that kind and so does the grand kids. two rows of orka and it's all coming up good.
