Last week we put one nearly 160 ears of corn, this is the last picking and we got over three dozen.
Put up five quarts of soup.
Yesterday was our 23 anniversary, since we gave up eating out because of Covid 19 we went to the next towns Sonic. Big celebration but we use to eat there a lot after spending hours with Tommy's mother at the nursing home on my weekend's off. Tommy went every Sunday but I worked every other Sunday.
I went out to the garden this morning and got this basket full.
Got some sewing done on Mia's quilt this weekend. Started putting it together!
Going to be a very colorful quilt.
All four years of her high school.
Got to put up some tomato's today, hopefully!

I am steaming some zucchini squash for tonight ...we gave up eating out, too...stay safe now Covid is still with us (unfortunately!!)

How many much corn did you plant? I thought that corn only had 2-3 ears of corn per stalk which means you planted a whole bunch of corn.
Would you say that was soup you canned - it looked so wonderful. Lots of nice veggies there.
Mia's quilt is going to be wonderful. I have so many t-shirts of Andy's left - I don't know what to do with them all.

Happy Anniversary!! We had 49 on the 7th. We have become leary of eating out. We went to Sonic in Tehachapi a few weeks ago and I got food poisoning. I can't even think of eating a burger even at home. The restaurants here have outdoor seating so we have tried to explore a couple of the locally owned ones thinking maybe the food would be fresher with more care taken in quality. One of hem appealed to us a lot so we will probably go back. It is the oldest restaurant in Tehachapi. I think the waitress said it's been there since the 1930s.
