Nearly A Finish

 Hi friends!

Got the binding sewed down and put it on the couch. Started sewing it down this morning.

We had storms last night but they went passed really fast.

This morning while sewing binding  on the t.v. messed up because the power was going off and on.This kind of weather mess's with my sinus.

Suppose to stay in the 70's today and tomorrow then cool down. They have been saying that for a while!!! Here it is nearly Nov. and still warm.

Hoping to finish in the next few days.

Our House

 Hi friends!

These blooming things are all over our yard, front , back. sides! We have had some extra rain this year ,maybe that's the reason.

This is in my sewing room window, Tonia and Bobby gave it to me the " Nativity scene" a couple of years ago for Christmas.

Hubby finished off the house yesterday, since it's higher on front I had hold the ladder duties so did'n't get as much sewing donel.

I cleaned all these , climbing on the furniture.

See how white it is? Cloudy here! So not a great picture.

Even our fuel tank looks like it was newly painted!

Pinned the Bottom border. Then sewed it down and stuffed binding in.

Pinned the top one 

Then It was time for supper.

Enjoying These Temps

Hi friends!

Got the second side border stuff with battening and quilted both of them.

This morning I got some more Black and now I can get the top and bottom border done.

Hubby started cleaning our house yesterday. Used a jar of dawn and a gallon of bleach on this side of the house.

Had to buy some more bleach and dawn this morning to!

It me show you the difference!

That Cedar tree leaves a mess on that side of the house. Right now he is taking the air con out of the window so he can get the front of the house done.

Its not as dirty!

We only put it on two sides so that's all he likes to be finished with it.

Our Weekend

Hi friends!
 Something thinks it's spring!

All this warn weather has fooled things around here.

I didn't get a lot of sewing done over the weekend, because I got some really good books when Tommy went to the Retina Dr.

The one on the left Sis bought and brought it over, the one on the right was bought at Ollie's for 1.99 cents.

When you inhale books like we do it can get expensive so Ollie's helps.  Harlan Coben is very good!

 McKay's is to but because of Covid-19 they will bring you a basket of books  to your car but the way we have read all our life there's a  good chance  we  have already read them.

I put on both the side borders but added battening to only one so far. Going to need to buy more black tomorrow to finish.

Going to do a little quilting on those two borders today.

Borders Next

Hi friends!

All I like is the borders! I worked on those two rows to get them the right length most of Wednesday Then yesterday got it sewed together so now I am going to add small borders all the way around.

We are showing lots of color right now! Rain tonight may make all the leaves fall!
But after it rains the temps are suppose to still be around 70!. Not suppose to get hard rain, just showers here and there for four days.

Hubby was suppose to go see one eye Dr. last week but they all got the virus, called and told him not to come! So he will have to make another apt for that test. 
Another beautiful day today!

One Finish!

 Hi friends!

Finished one on Monday!

For a full bed!

Yesterday was Hubby's apt. with the Retina Specialist. They were covered up, Hubby sat in the car with me for 30 minutes before they let him in and when the Dr. finished checking he said nothing had hanged so he wants him to come back in 3 months. He had told him surgery was the next step but now if nothing happens with Hubby's eyes he want him to wait.

My orka is still blooming! We haven't had frost yet! I am running out of room in the freezer

Grandson has covid , we haven't been near him but his family is suppose to stay away from any one for two weeks . The college sent him home for his parents to take care of.

 Brad that we lost in a fire with his whole family: his fathers trailer burned but he got three grandkids out , lost his home!No deaths! Thank you LORD

Keep praying this awful virus goes away soon.

 See my great cutting? But I didn't cut into what I wanted. I did trim it up before I sewed them together.

Sis had given me a pillow to stuff it with! Next time I go to Walmart I will get another. So I will have a pair.

My hand stitches are rather large!

Got that fifth row added, after having to take part of it off and resewing

Made us a Peach  clobber yesterday but not much left .

Tommy got seconds!

Another Row Made

Hi friends! 

All I got done yesterday was to join all those new blocks together.  We had company last night so after that it was to late to sew, really enjoyed seeing them! Hadn't seen them in weeks

Richard went back to see his Dr. after having his second cataract removed . You know my parents and Tommy's parents never had to have that done! I wonder why now every one just about has to have them removed? I know my mother could see good when she was 81! Mine had a brown color so bad that my hair in the mirror had changed to brown! I asked Tommy one day if it had! That's when I decide I needed to see my eye Dr.

Going to bring in my flowers today because they are saying we may  get in the 30's by the weekend at night.

My orka is still blooming but after the low 30's it want any more!

Hoping Tommy is still feeling like planting next year.

That medicine that his lung Dr gave him has really helped.

We sat out side this morning and drank our coffee but want be able to do that much longer.

Making it Bigger

Got the next row made yesterday but not joined! Plus two rows are smaller so I am trying to figure out a way to make them long enough!

Could just add black but one I have already made a part for!

We were sitting outside Sunday morning when a firetruck pulled up down the road at our neighbors renters trailer. Then a ambulance pulled up and turned in there. Hubby called the neighbor and he told him he stopped to check on his renter and found him dead.

Shocking on a Sunday morning!

He was just 65 and he drank.

Constantly!

Very sad!

Hubby knew him, I had never really meet him but knew him from him.

Hope he new the Lord!

Got the next row pinned and had to stop.

Been working on this! It's a little larger than some I have done. I need to find some frames but not the ones they sale. Way to high! May go looking before Christmas in second hand stores!

T-Shirt Quilt

 Hi friends!

Did one of my 15 minutes of working yesterday , just to keep working and making progress!

Had problems all weekend and said I was going to get a new drop cord and then forgot when we went to Walmart!

This is what I have been sewing on!

My son-in-law found this in a house he was working on, the owner rented it out and  was wanting some work done on it.  When he asked him, he was told to get rid of it. So he brought it to me!

My featherweight and my newest brother both gave me problems all last weekend.

Why I was going to get a new drop-cord!

That's the only thing I could think of might cause both to not want to run! But it may be something else!?      

Some one may be missing this one  by now!

It's one of the cheaper Brothers but I have always loved Brothers , seem like the last a lot longer.

It sews great!

Stopped right there! Hubby's have to be fed.
