Today

Hi friends!
I took pictures yesterday but for some reason the snow falling didn't want to show up.
The sun is shining now so I feel better.!
Fought with my Euro-pro yesterday all after noon.
It started breaking thread, so i changed the needle and retreaded it but it still broke thread i am going looking for a bigger needle and see if that works.
I know i have some bigger ones here somewhere.
I got all my 9 patch's changed to 16 patch's  because  i want to quilt as i go and and needed them bigger.
When i started making my 8th block when it started breaking.

I am going to try to get it to stop for a while and if that other needle doesn't work i will change to"Big Brother"
I need to cut me some more 4 1/2 inch squares too before these run out.
These blocks  measure 16 inches square so they may be big enough.
Have a wonderful day friends.
Hugs
Quilt Happy

I always love to look closely at scrappy quilts to see if I recognize any fabrics I spyid a couple in your block that I have in my stash.
A couple of years ago I had the same problem as you with a machine, breaking threads and needles. It gave me fits for days. As I sat staring at it contemplating throwing out the back door and running over it with the truck, I noticed that the thread was getting caught in the little notch in the spool that holds the thread when stored away. Now it's the first thing I check when those issue arise.

You know what Babs ,I bought a pack of needles last summer and every one broke thread.
B took then and had a look under magnifying class, every single one had a burr on the inside of the eye.Scrap.
It's a flippin pain when you just want to get on and sew.
One day I will use all my bits of fabric and make a nine patch.
Keep warm my friend we have snow forcast, don't think it will come though.
Xx

I can sympathize with the machine problems. Love your blocks.
